Prizes for the Best Final Projects
Prizes awarded by the Official College of Industrial Engineering of Madrid
The Official College of Industrial Engineering of Madrid (Ciudad Real Delegation) annually awards two prizes to the best final projects at the E.T.S.I.I.. The aim of this recognition is to assess the carrying out of the project by the Industrial Engineering students as a last stage in their academic training before starting out on their professional life. Their originality and innovation will be mainly assessed, together with their application and viability. It is not necessary to make a request. The prizes will be awarded during the graduation ceremony that the E.T.S.I.I. normally holds during the second four month term of each year.
1st prize: 1000 euros.
2nd prize: 800 euros.
Prizes awarded by companies
The Higher Technical School of Industrial Engineering annually organizes the "COMPANY PRIZES" for the bestfinal project in different fields of engineering. The prizes and the sponsoring companies are as follows:

"REPSOL ENERGÍA" PRIZE, prize for the best final project in the energy field.

"TECNOBIT" PRIZE, prize for the best final project in the field of electronic, automation and/or robotic engineering.
-
PRIZE for the best final project in the environmental protection field. Company to determine.

"ACCIONA" PRIZE, prize for best final project in the area of corporate sustainability.
-
"ENDESA", prize for best final project related to electrical engineering and business organization.
-
"AIRBUS" PRIZE, prize for best final project in the field of mechanical engineering.




"COMPANY PRIZES" ASSESSMENTS for the best final project:
- Presentation of work: During February each year. A copy of the final project must be submitted, together with a covering letter that explains the interest (technical, scientific, innovative, etc.) as well as the industrial/commercial benefits of the project.
- Organization: E.T.S.I.I. of Ciudad Real.
- Participants: The competition is aimed at all students of the Higher Technical School of Industrial Engineering that have submitted a final project between 28 February of the year of the assessments and March of the previous year. The projects should be focused on the field corresponding to each prize.
- Anyone with any type of contractual relationship with the sponsoring company cannot enter.
- Jury: The Jury that will select the best final project will be presided over by the Director of E.T.S.I.I. together with the Assistant Director of Business Relations and an E.T.S.I.I. lecturer from the area related to the subject of thefinal project, as well as a representative of THE COMPANY.
- The jury will have thirty days to assess the submitted projects.
- The jury will bear in mind, for the awarding of the prize, the following aspects of the project, among others: originality, innovation, methodology applied, quality of the project, writing, use of the budget, as well as its application and viability.
- Awards ceremony: The prize will consist of an accreditation certificate awarded by THE COMPANY and 500 euros. This ceremony will take place during the graduation ceremony that E.T.S.I.I. holds normally during the second four month term of each year.
